Our member city Kobe and Hyogo Prefecture have launched two small fuel cell trucks with Kobe-based Hyoki Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd., marking the first use by private companies in the Kansai region. Supported by local and national subsidies, operating costs are now close to those of diesel trucks.
The vehicles are already transporting small cargo in Kobe, showing how hydrogen can deliver practical, low-carbon solutions for urban logistics.
