The Annual General Meeting was held in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Participating cities included Aberdeen, Barranquilla, Cape Town, Dammam, Esbjerg, Halifax, Houston, Kobe, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, St. John’s, Stavanger and Villahermosa.

The city of Kobe, Japan joined as a new member of WECP.

Lord Provost Barney Crockett of Aberdeen was elected President of the WECP and Mayor Jesper Frost Rasmussen of Esbjerg was elected Vice President.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia, were elected to host the 2020 AGM.
