During the 2022 Working Group Meeting in Houston, the partnership elected Mayor Jesper Frost Rasmussen of Esbjerg as President of the World Energy Cities Partnership, and Mayor Fahad Al-Jubair of Dammam as Vice-President.

The 2022 Annual General Meeting took place in Esbjerg, Denmark from October 5th – 8th.

Participating cities included Aberdeen, Stavanger, Halifax, Cape Town, Dammam, Calgary, Houston, Perth, and Kobe. Present online were Karamay, Daqing, Dongying and Barranquilla.

The Working Group Meeting in spring will from now on coincide with CERAWEEK.
